People...this is not fashion!

In case you haven't seen them...these new shoes are called Crocs, and "everybody is wearing them!" Everybody except me.

When I was little girl growing up in the boondocks of Minnesota, our neighbor lady used to wear these in the garden when she was watering, and generally walking around in the muck. She called them her "mud shoes!"

I can't even explain my level of distress when I saw several, otherwise fashionable, women walking around with these.

People..please stop the insanity! This is not fashion, and just because your new blue crocs match your new blue pants doesn't mean you

should wear them!
