Are some things better left unsaid?

After reading another friends blog today, I started to think about a failed relationship.

I've known for a long time what I want to say to this person, and have it all written down in my mind, but the big question is whether I should write my thoughts down ON PAPER and then send it. What keeps me from sending this letter is the fear of how it will be received.

Now I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons. Send the letter and deal with the possible fallout, or try to forget about it? Is it worth the effort to send it, even though the relationship will never be what I once thought? Are some things really better left unsaid?

I've heard people say that God can redeem any situation. Does this count?

It sounds as if the relationship already isn't what you once thought..at least from your perspective.
I do believe some things are better left unsaid, but I always have a hard time figuring out which 'things'!
Maybe if you write your letter, once it's down in front of you, deciphering whether some of it is best left unsaid will be easier.
If you live in Chicago, you should know that the coolest girl on the planet lives there attending Moody and working with kids in Cabrini. My sister Mary's blog is here:
