Amazing Grace
There are currently more than 27 million people in the world living as slaves. Yes...I did say slaves. Many of them are chidlren...either girls sold into the sex trafficking world and/or young boys "recruited" to fight as little warriors in Africa and other parts of the globe.
A new movie is out, Amazing Grace, and it talks about the fight by British parliament member William Wilberforce and Prime Minister William Pitt to stop slavery in Britain during the 18th century. It also addresses current slavery conditions around the globe.
I've seen the movie, and had the privledge of interviewing the lead actor, Ioan Gruffudd, who plays William Wilberforce. Make time in your schedule, and go see the movie. It could change your life!
